#iaremunyeeinsydney: Devon Cafe.

Late mornings, early cravings.

I woke up next to you and I had to pinch myself to make sure that I wasn't dreaming - that you weren't a figment of my over-active imagination.

You were still fast asleep, so I watch the steady rise and fall of your chest. You must be dreaming - I wonder what of.

I wanted to memorize your features. The slope of your nose and the point where it meets your Cupid's bow. That pair of lips that makes me weep and the symmetry of your jawline.

I was going to trace the curvature of your arms with my fingertips when your eyes fluttered open.

Good morning baby.

I apologized, I didn't mean to wake you.

What time is it?

Eight. Half past eight.

We're meeting your friends for breakfast at 10?

I nod.

He pushed me back onto my pillow, leaned over me. Sleepy eyes brimmed with desire, he asked, "Do you want breakfast in bed?"

And that's why we were late.
